He aims to largely distribute this wealth over the next two decades, with the foundation planning to sunset its operations by 2045.
      The vast majority of this $200 billion is earmarked for improving health and education across Africa. Gates has highlighted key areas of focus within this, including:
      * Strengthening primary healthcare: This includes efforts to end preventable deaths of mothers and babies, and ensuring future generations are free from deadly infectious diseases.
      * Lifting millions out of poverty: This involves initiatives related to education and agricultural innovation.
      * Investing in technology: He has mentioned the importance of AI in healthcare and other advancements.
      While the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the primary vehicle for his philanthropy, Gates also invests considerable time and money in other ventures like Breakthrough Energy, which supports clean energy innovation, and TerraPower, a company focused on next-generation nuclear technology. Any profits from these ventures are also reinvested back into the foundation.
