His criminal career began during his time in student politics at Panjab University, where he formed a close association with Goldy Brar. His gang is reportedly linked to over 700 shooters globally and is involved in crimes like extortion and murder.
Goldie Brar (Satinderjeet Singh) is a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi and a member of his gang. He was born on March 11, 1994, in Sri Muktsar Sahib district, Punjab, India, and later moved to Canada on a student visa in 2017. Brar claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s murder via a Facebook post shortly after the incident and later confessed to it in a televised appearance. He stated that Moosewala “made some mistakes that could not be forgiven” and that they “had no option but to kill him.” Goldy Brar is believed to have coordinated with shooters and plotters, arranging weapons, cash, and shelter for them. He operates his criminal activities remotely, often from outside India.
The Bishnoi gang claimed they killed Moosewala to avenge the murder of Akali Youth leader Vicky Middukhera in 2021, alleging Moosewala’s aide had a role in it. Both Bishnoi and Brar have multiple criminal cases against them.
