There are many great foreign language movies on Disney+, but here are a few of the newest and most critically acclaimed:

• Flee (2021): This Danish animated documentary tells the story of Amin Nawabi, an Afghan refugee who flees his country as a teenager and eventually settles in Denmark. The film uses a unique combination of animation and archival footage to tell Nawabi’s story, which is both heartbreaking and hopeful.
  
• The Handmaiden (2016): This South Korean psychological thriller is set in 1930s Korea during the Japanese occupation. The film follows a young woman who is hired as a handmaiden to a Japanese heiress, but she soon becomes entangled in a plot of deception and betrayal.
