      Casualties:
      * At least 123 deaths have been reported in Punjab since the monsoon season began on June 26th.
      * Over 450 people have been injured in the province.
      * A significant number of fatalities are due to house collapses, especially in structurally vulnerable homes.
      Property Damage:
      * At least 162 houses have been partially or fully damaged in Punjab.
      * Widespread damage due to roof collapses, landslides, and flash floods has been confirmed.
      * Districts like Chakwal have been particularly hard hit, with a cloudburst causing flash floods and damaging homes. Rawalpindi also experienced significant flooding.
      Other Impacts:
      * A state of emergency has been declared in several districts of Punjab.
      * The government has banned bathing and swimming in ponds, rivers, and natural water streams due to high water levels and risks.
      * Transport links have been severed in some areas.
      * The overall situation is reminiscent of the catastrophic 2022 floods.
      The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned of further heavy rainfall in the coming days, especially in central and northern Pakistan, and high flood levels are expected in rivers like the Jhelum.
