If you want to restrict someone from seeing your Facebook posts, you can use the “Friends Except” feature to exclude specific people from seeing your updates. Here’s how to do it:

      On Desktop (Facebook Website):

      1. Log In to Facebook:
        • Open your preferred web browser and go to www.facebook.com.
        • Log in to your Facebook account if you’re not already logged in.
      2. Create a Friends List (Optional):
        • If you haven’t already, you can create a custom friends list to manage your privacy settings more efficiently. To do this, click on “Friends” in the left-hand menu and then click “Create List.”
      3. Make a Post:
        • Begin creating a new post by clicking on the “What’s on your mind?” box at the top of your News Feed.
      4. Customize Post Privacy:
        • Below the post box, you’ll see a privacy dropdown (it may say “Public” or “Friends” by default).
        • Click on the dropdown and choose “Friends Except…” or “More Options.”
      5. Exclude Specific People:
        • A box will appear where you can enter the names of people you want to exclude from seeing this particular post.
        • Type in the name of the person or persons you want to restrict.
        • Select their names from the suggestions that appear.
      6. Finish Your Post:
        • Complete your post as usual, adding text, photos, or whatever content you want to share.
      7. Post Your Update:
        • Click the “Post” button to share your update. Only the people you’ve excluded won’t be able to see it.

By following these steps, you can restrict specific individuals from seeing a particular post while allowing your other friends to see it.

Please note that this method must be applied to each post individually. If you want to restrict someone from seeing all your future posts, you can unfollow or unfriend them. Unfollowing means you’re still friends but won’t see their posts, and they won’t see your posts unless they follow you back. Unfriending means you’ll no longer be friends on Facebook.
