To use Facebook Live Video, follow these steps:
- Open Facebook: Log in to your Facebook account using the mobile app or a web browser.
- Create a Post: On the Facebook app, tap the “What’s on your mind?” field at the top of your News Feed. On the web, it’s the same field at the top of your profile or News Feed.
- Choose Live Video: In the post creation window, you’ll see several options, including “Live.” Tap or click on “Live.”
- Set Privacy Settings: Before you go live, you can choose who can see your video. You can select from Public, Friends, Friends Except, Specific Friends, or Only Me, depending on your preferences. You can also add a description to your live video to let your audience know what it’s about.
- Configure Additional Settings: You can enable or disable various options like location tagging, adding a feeling or activity, and more, depending on the content of your live video.
- Add a Title: Give your live video a title that describes what you’ll be sharing.
- Start Broadcasting: Once you’ve configured your settings, tap the “Go Live” button (or similar, depending on your device). Facebook will begin a countdown, giving you a moment to prepare.
- Interact with Viewers: While broadcasting, you can see the number of viewers and any comments they leave. You can respond to comments in real-time, making the broadcast interactive.
- End Your Live Video: When you’re ready to finish, tap “Finish” or “End Live Video.” Facebook will ask you to confirm before ending the broadcast.
- Save or Share: After ending the live video, you’ll have the option to save it to your camera roll, share it on your timeline, or delete it.
