    Aamir Khan’s first marriage to Reena Dutta, which was a secret wedding due to family disapproval, coincided with a famous India-Pakistan cricket match on April 10, 1986, in Sharjah.
    While Aamir and Reena had secretly tied the knot, their families were engrossed in watching the cricket match, so no one noticed their absence. Aamir was thrilled because India was winning, hoping his wedding day would be remembered with an Indian victory.
    However, in a dramatic turn of events, Javed Miandad hit a six off the last ball, leading to India’s defeat. This moment caused immense disappointment for Indian fans, and for Aamir Khan, it “ruined” his wedding day by turning his joy into profound upset and even “depression” because of India’s loss.
    Years later, when Aamir Khan met Javed Miandad on a flight, he jokingly told him, “Javed Bhai, you didn’t do right to me! You ruined my wedding because you hit that six on the last ball, and I was terribly disappointed.” This highlights how the significant sporting moment overshadowed his personal milestone for him.

    The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has not restored reserved seats to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) or its allied party, the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC). Instead, following a Supreme Court verdict, the ECP has distributed the reserved seats previously earmarked for the PTI/SIC to other political parties, primarily the ruling coalition.
    Here’s a breakdown of the recent developments:
    * Supreme Court’s Verdict (June 27, 2025): A 7-3 majority ruling by a Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court overturned its own previous judgment (July 12, 2024) that had declared the PTI eligible for reserved seats. This new decision effectively stated that the PTI (or the SIC, which PTI-backed independents joined) was not entitled to reserved seats because of “non-curable legal defects and violation of a mandatory provision of submission of party list for reserved seats.” This decision essentially meant PTI was no longer considered a parliamentary party for the purpose of reserved seats.
    * ECP’s Decision (July 2, 2025): Following the Supreme Court’s verdict, the ECP proceeded to distribute the 77 reserved seats (for women and non-Muslims) in the National Assembly and provincial assemblies that were previously claimed by the SIC/PTI.
    * Distribution of Seats (National Assembly): According to legal experts, of the 22 reserved seats in the National Assembly, the distribution is as follows:
    * Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N): 15 seats
    * Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP): 4 seats
    * Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F): 3 seats
    * Distribution of Seats (Provincial Assemblies):
    * Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly: 10 seats to JUI-F, 7 to PML-N, 6 to PPP, and one each to PTI-Parliamentarians and Awami National Party.
    This redistribution of reserved seats has significantly strengthened the ruling coalition, allowing them to achieve a two-thirds majority in the National Assembly.

    The iPhone 17 series is expected to launch in September 2025, and while official pricing hasn’t been announced, several rumors and analyst predictions offer a glimpse of what to expect.
    Here’s a summary of the rumored pricing for the iPhone 17 models:
    * iPhone 17 (base model):
    * USA: Anticipated to start around $899 (some reports suggest it could remain at $799-$899, similar to current models, if upgrades are minor).
    * India: Expected to be around ₹89,900.
    * UAE: Expected to retail for approximately AED 3,799.
    * iPhone 17 Air (new model, replacing the Plus):
    * Expected to be priced between the standard iPhone 17 and the Pro models.
    * USA: Some estimates suggest around $900, similar to the current iPhone 16 Plus.
    * India: Could be around ₹99,900.
    * iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max:
    * These models are likely to see a price hike due to significant upgrades in design, chipset (A19 Pro), camera systems (e.g., 48MP telephoto lens, 24MP front camera for all models), and other advanced features.
    * USA: While specific figures vary, some sources suggest an increase from the iPhone 16 Pro’s $999 starting price. There’s even speculation that the Pro Max could reach $2,300 or more, especially if new tariffs are imposed.
    * India: The iPhone 17 Pro might start around ₹1,39,900, and the Pro Max around ₹1,64,900.
    Factors that could influence the final price:
    * New Features and Upgrades: The iPhone 17 series is rumored to bring significant advancements, including new display technologies (larger LTPO OLED with 120Hz for the base model), improved cameras, and the new A19/A19 Pro chip. These advancements often translate to higher costs.
    * Tariffs and Production Costs: Ongoing global trade situations, particularly potential tariffs on products manufactured in China or India, could significantly impact the final price for consumers in various regions.
    * Inflation and Market Conditions: General economic factors and inflation can also play a role in Apple’s pricing strategy.
    * Storage Tiers: As always, higher storage capacities will command higher prices.
    It’s important to remember that these are all rumors and predictions based on current leaks and industry analysis. The official prices will only be confirmed by Apple closer to the launch event in September 2025.

    Yes, “funner” and “funnest” are considered real words, though their usage comes with some nuances and a bit of a history.

    Here’s a breakdown:

    • “Fun” as an adjective: Historically, “fun” was primarily a noun (meaning enjoyment or amusement). However, over time, it became commonly used as an adjective (“We had a fun time”). This shift wasn’t always met with approval by grammarians, but its adjectival use is now widely accepted and included in modern dictionaries.
    • Forming comparatives and superlatives: Once “fun” gained acceptance as an adjective, the question arose of how to form its comparative and superlative forms.
      • For many one-syllable adjectives (like “new,” “tall,” “quick”), you add “-er” for the comparative (“newer,” “taller,” “quicker”) and “-est” for the superlative (“newest,” “tallest,” “quickest”).
      • For longer adjectives, or those that sound awkward with “-er” or “-est,” you use “more” and “most” (“more beautiful,” “most interesting”).
    • The case of “funner” and “funnest”: Because “fun” is a one-syllable word, “funner” and “funnest” logically follow the pattern of adding “-er” and “-est.” And indeed, these forms have been in use for over a century.
    • Usage and Acceptance:
      • They are real words: Dictionaries like Merriam-Webster acknowledge “funner” and “funnest” as valid, often with a “sometimes” label, due to their widespread use in published and edited texts.
      • Informal vs. Formal: While grammatically sound, “funner” and “funnest” are generally considered informal. In formal writing or speech, “more fun” and “most fun” are still preferred and will likely sound more natural to many people.
      • Preference: Many people still prefer “more fun” and “most fun,” and using “funner” or “funnest” might strike some as peculiar or less refined.

    In summary, you can use “funner” and “funnest,” especially in informal contexts, and they are recognized by dictionaries. However, if you want to err on the side of caution or maintain a more formal tone, “more fun” and “most fun” are still the more widely accepted and common choices.
