Facebook offers a feature called “Nearby Friends” that allows you to see Facebook friends who are nearby, provided both you and your friends have this feature enabled. Here’s how to use it:
On Mobile (Facebook App):
- Open the Facebook App: Launch the Facebook app on your mobile device.
- Access Nearby Friends:
- Tap the three horizontal lines (the menu icon) in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap “Friends.”
- Tap “Nearby Friends.”
- Turn on Nearby Friends:
- If you haven’t already turned on Nearby Friends, you’ll be prompted to do so.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enable this feature.
- View Nearby Friends:
- Once enabled, you can view a list of your Facebook friends who are nearby.
- You can also set location-sharing preferences, such as sharing your precise location or only sharing a city-level location.
