If you’ve forgotten your Facebook password, you can reset it through the “Forgot Password” feature. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Facebook Login Page: Visit www.facebook.com if you’re not already on the site.
2. Click on “Forgot Password?”: Beneath the password field, you’ll see a “Forgot Password?” link. Click on it.
3. Find Your Account: On the next page, enter your email address, phone number, username, or full name associated with your Facebook account. Then, click “Search.”
4. Select Your Account: If Facebook finds an account matching the information you provided, it will display your profile picture and username. Click “This is my account.”
5. Reset Your Password: You’ll be given options to reset your password. Facebook may offer to send a reset code to your email address or phone number. Choose the method you prefer and click “Continue.”
6. Retrieve the Reset Code: Check your email or phone for the reset code sent by Facebook. If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folders.
7. Enter the Reset Code: Enter the reset code provided by Facebook into the designated field on the page.
8. Create a New Password: After entering the reset code, you’ll be prompted to create a new password. Make sure it’s a strong, secure password that you can remember. Confirm the new password by entering it a second time.
9. Log In: Once your new password is set, click “Continue” or “Change Password” to save it. You should now be able to log in to your Facebook account with your new password.

To hide your friends list on Facebook, you can follow these steps:

On Desktop:

1. Log into Facebook: Go to Facebook and log into your account if you’re not already logged in.
2. Go to Your Profile: Click on your name or profile picture to go to your Facebook profile.
3. Click on “Friends”: On your profile page, click the “Friends” tab below your cover photo.
4. Edit Privacy: At the top right corner of your Friends list, you’ll see a pencil icon. Click on it and select “Edit Privacy.”
5. Choose Your Privacy Setting: A pop-up window will appear. Here, you can choose who can see your friends list. You can select from options like “Public,” “Friends,” or “Only Me” for maximum privacy. “Public” means anyone can see your friends list, “Friends” allows your friends to see it, and “Only Me” restricts it to yourself.
6. Save Changes: After selecting your preferred privacy setting, click “Done” or “Save Changes” to apply the new privacy settings.

On the Facebook Mobile App:

1. Open the Facebook App: Launch the Facebook app on your mobile device.
2. Go to Your Profile: Tap on your profile picture or name to access your profile.
3. Tap on “Friends”: Below your cover photo, you’ll find the “Friends” section. Tap on it.
4. Manage: In the top right corner of the “Friends” section, you’ll see three horizontal dots (ellipsis). Tap on them.
5. Edit Privacy: From the menu that appears, select “Edit Privacy.”
6. Choose Privacy Setting: Similar to the desktop version, you can select who can see your friends list. Choose from options like “Public,” “Friends,” or “Only Me.”
7. Save Changes: Once you’ve made your selection, tap “Done” or “Save Changes” to save your new privacy settings.

Creating a Facebook Group:

1. Log In: Go to Facebook (facebook.com) and log in to your account. You need to have a Facebook account to create a group.
2. Access Groups: On the left-hand side of your Facebook homepage, you’ll see a “Groups” section. Click on “See More” to find more options related to groups.
3. Create Group: Click the “Create Group” button.
4. Group Details: A window will appear where you can provide details for your group:
   • Name: Enter a name for your group.
   • Privacy: Choose whether your group will be public, closed (requires approval to join), or secret (invitation-only).
   • Description: Write a brief description of your group’s purpose.
5. Add Members: You can start typing the names of your Facebook friends to add them to the group. Facebook will suggest friends as you type, or you can skip this step and add members later.
6. Customize Settings: You can adjust additional settings, such as membership approval and posting permissions, to suit your group’s needs.
7. Create: Once you’ve filled in the necessary information, click the “Create” button.

Joining a Facebook Group:

1. Search for Groups: To find groups of interest, use the Facebook search bar. Type keywords related to your interests, and then click “Groups” to filter the search results.
2. Browse Groups: Explore the list of groups that match your interests. You can click on a group’s name to learn more.
3. Join: For public or closed groups, you’ll usually see a “Join Group” button. Click it to send a request to join. Secret groups require an invitation from a current member.
4. Approval: If you requested to join a closed group, the group’s admin will need to approve your request. Once approved, you become a member and can participate in the group.
5. Group Activity: After joining a group, you can access it by clicking “Groups” on the left sidebar of your Facebook homepage and selecting the group you want to engage with.
